8:00 AM – Morning Huddle
The day begins with a quick team meeting, where we go over the schedule and any urgent electrical repairs that need to be addressed. The dispatcher assigns jobs based on location and technician expertise.
9:00 AM – First Call
I head out to an air conditioning repair job in Volusia County. The homeowner’s unit isn’t cooling properly, and after a thorough inspection, I identify a refrigerant leak as the culprit. I perform the necessary repairs and recharge the system, restoring cool, comfortable air in no time.
11:30 AM – Lunch Break
Lunchtime is a welcome respite from the Florida heat. I grab a quick bite and catch up on paperwork before heading out to the next job.
1:00 PM – Plumbing Emergency
A call comes in from a frantic homeowner in Winter Park with a plumbing emergency. A burst pipe has flooded their basement, and they need immediate assistance. I rush over and manage to shut off the water supply, mitigating further damage. After assessing the situation, I provide a quote for the necessary repairs.
3:30 PM – Electrical Wiring Upgrade
The last job of the day is an electrical wiring upgrade for a commercial client. I work diligently to ensure the new wiring meets code requirements and can handle the increased load safely.
5:30 PM – End of Day
After a long day on the road, I head back to the office to file reports and restock my van for tomorrow’s calls. It’s a satisfying feeling knowing that I’ve helped numerous customers with their home and business needs.
